CNASA Badminton Tournament Results

MIT managed to successfully take home first in both the Men’s and the Mixed tournament. And in doing so, extended our winning streak to four years in a row (since 2006)! Great job guys!

Next Practice: Sunday, October 11th!

Alright team, we’re going to mix it up a little up this week.  We don’t have the courts reserved, but we are going to have practice anyway because the courts are supposed to be open for badminton open play use.  We only have the courts from 9AM until 12PM, so PLEASE be on time/early.

First Practice of Fall Semester 2009: September 13th

The first practice for the intercollegiate league will be from 10AM-12PM on September 13th, 2009 in Rockwell Cage South Courts.  Practice will be led by coach Marc Lai.  Practice is open to all MIT students (exchange students too).  Please contact us if you’d like to join the team and receive team emails.

The schedule posted on our schedule page is still accurate. The times listed for open badminton at http://web.mit.edu/athletics/www/recschedule.pdf
are in addition to our previously scheduled times.
We will keep you up to date as to any other schedule changes imposed by DAPER.

Everyone, in response to the many inquiries we’ve received regarding whether those not affiliated with MIT can play with the team, the answer is: Yes You Can!
